Domain verification
One of Gleap's core features is directly answering to customer feedback. All answers will be sent by email - this is why a high email deliverability is crucial.
Gleap offers two different options for sending emails:
- Use one of our domains (usually [email protected])
- Use your own sender domain (recommended option)
Use your own sender domain
In order to use your own sender domain, you need to first verify the domain. This includes adding it to Gleap and also adding two DNS records to your DNS table.
Let's get started by navigating to Organizations > Domain
verification within the Gleap Dashboard.
Now enter your domain (without https://) and hit Add domain
.
You can also add and verify subdomains (i.e. mail.example.com)
Add your DNS records
Now head over to your DNS provider and add the following two DNS entries. They are required to ensure great deliverability as they authorize our mailservers to send emails on behalf of your domain.
It may take up to 48 hours for the DNS changes to propagate. If you added the DNS records and the verification hasn't been successful yet, please simply try again later.
Congrats 🎉 After the verification, you are all set.
Sender options
Gleap offers different sender options to fit your needs. You can set the sender name, email and also choose between sending from user domains in your organization.
