# Update entry values

> Update an entry's field values. Keys are the pipeline's field `fieldId`s (see
GET /pipelines/{pipelineId}/properties). Sent keys are merged into the existing values —
fields you do not send are left untouched — and sending `null` clears a field. Values must be
primitives (string, number, boolean); anything else is dropped.
